“NY TECHNO (pt 1 and 2)” is inspired by a winter weekend in New York where exhaustion, desire, ambition, and escape all blur together. The work reflects the emotional rhythm of rave culture. The search for connection within chaos, the intimacy of crowded rooms, and the temporary freedom found on dance floors at 3 a.m.
 
In a culture built around constant motion and reinvention, the rave becomes a space where people can disappear into sound, anonymity, and each other even if only for a night. The work speaks to the beauty and loneliness that coexist within urban life and how you can feel a deep sense of belonging among the pounding techno music.
